Facilities



Water: We don’t drink water from the taps. There is purified water available for you to take to your room in the dining room fridge.
Please return empty bottles for re-filling.

Refreshments: Tea and coffee are available in the dining room at any time. Please help yourself.

Keys: Please lock your room when going to the dining room or garden. When leaving the premises, the key should be left on the lounge dining room divider. At the end of your stay please check that the key is returned to the top of the lounge divider before leaving.

Room cleaning: There are cleaning materials available if you wish to clean your own room. If however you would like one of the staff to sweep your room please speak with management.

Bathrooms: Each area is equipped with a hot shower that must be turned on anti-clockwise and turned off clockwise. The further it is turned on the cooler the water becomes.
Water heat can also be regulated by another knob on some.

Please use water carefully, it is precious.
Please leave the shower for others as you would like to find it.
Toilet paper and disposables to be placed in the bins provided please.

Sheets and towels: If you are staying for longer than a week please bring your dirty sheets, pillow case and towels to the laundry and our laundress will replace them with clean ones.

Washing of personal clothing: The washing machine can be used but please check with administration first regarding availability. This would usually be in the afternoons. Just a small donation is per load.
You are requested not to take the iron to your room.

Clothing can be washed by the staff at a cost of US$2 per medium-sized sack. Please pay at the office (not to an individual worker) before leaving.

Fans & Lights: There are additional fans, if your ceiling fan is not sufficient.
Please check that fans and lights are not left on when you leave your room.

Telephone: It is possible to make both local and international calls. Details must be entered in the appropriate Guest / ‘Hospedes’ book.
Careful attention is solicited in calculating the costs.

How to make an international call:
a) Dial TDM for a line using the number 1200
b) Ask the Operator for the number you require. She will call you back once it is connected.
c) At the end of your call, dial No. 1200 again and ask for the cost of your call.
d) Add 17% for the IVA tax and then write all the details in the International book.

Internet / e-mail: This service is available for a contribution of 1 Mt per minute to help cover running costs.
